Ballymena Man Charged With Murder

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating a murder in Ballymena, County Antrim. On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, police responded to a report of a serious assault at a property on Glenravel Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a 32-year-old woman with serious injuries.
The victim has been identified as Kelly Marie Ferguson. A 35-year-old man, Christopher Eccleston, has been arrested and charged with her murder. He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Wilson said: "Our investigation is at an early stage, but we are treating this as a domestic abuse-related incident. We are supporting the victim's family and friends at this difficult time."
