Hamburg: Search for 14-Year-Old Ended
Police have ended their search for a 14-year-old girl who went missing in Hamburg on Tuesday.
The girl, identified only as Amina, was last seen leaving her home in the Wandsbek district at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Police launched a search for Amina after she failed to return home and her family reported her missing. The search involved police officers, search dogs, and a helicopter.
On Wednesday evening, police announced that they had found Amina's body in a canal in the Wilhelmsburg district. The cause of her death is not yet known, but police are treating it as a suspected homicide.
Amina's family is devastated by her death. They have described her as a "kind and loving girl" who was always smiling.
