Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Uberto Pasolini, Charlie Plummer Join ‘The Forgiven’
The Picture Company’s thriller begins filming in Morocco this month.

Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Uberto Pasolini and Charlie Plummer are to star in The Forgiven, a thriller from The Picture Company which John Michael McDonagh will direct.
The film is based on Lawrence Osborne’s 2012 novel of the same name and will begin shooting in Morocco this month. Additional cast joining the film are Matt Smith, Mark Strong, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Christopher Abbott and Caleb Landry Jones.
The story follows a wealthy couple (Fiennes and Binoche) whose marriage is tested when they accidentally kill a young boy while on vacation in Morocco. The film is produced by Pasolini and Luc Roeg, while Rocket Science is handling international sales and CAA Media Finance is overseeing the U.S. sale.
The Picture Company’s Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are executive producing with Ben Browning and Josh Varney.
Fiennes will next be seen in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch, which opens October 22. Binoche recently wrapped filming on Claire Denis’ Both Sides Of The Blade. Pasolini is best known for producing The Full Monty and Crash. Plummer will next appear in Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley, which is set for release this December.
