Ryde Group expands deal with Singlife on work injury compensation protection
Ryde, a leading ride-hailing platform in Singapore, has expanded its partnership with Singlife, a leading digital insurer in Singapore, to provide work injury compensation protection to its drivers.
This enhancement to Ryde's insurance coverage will provide drivers with additional peace of mind while on the job, ensuring they are financially protected in the event of an accident or injury.
Under the expanded partnership, Singlife will provide Ryde drivers with work injury compensation protection, which covers medical expenses, loss of income, and permanent disability benefits in the event of an accident or injury sustained while driving for Ryde. This coverage complements Ryde's existing accident insurance policy, which provides coverage for accidents that occur while drivers are on the road.
The expansion of Ryde's partnership with Singlife is a testament to Ryde's commitment to providing a safe and secure work environment for its drivers.
Alvin Teng, CEO of Ryde, said, "The safety and well-being of our drivers is our top priority. By expanding our partnership with Singlife, we are providing our drivers with comprehensive work injury compensation protection that gives them peace of mind while on the job."
Singlife's CEO and co-founder, Walter de Oude, said, "We are delighted to expand our partnership with Ryde to provide work injury compensation protection to their drivers. This coverage will provide Ryde drivers with the financial protection they need in the event of an accident or injury, ensuring they can focus on providing safe and reliable rides to their passengers."
