Bad luck for Sebastian Pufpaff: The host of "TV total Wok WM" injured himself during a training session for the ski jumping event. According to ProSieben, the 46-year-old fell in the inrun at the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf on Tuesday and had to be taken to a hospital for examination. The extent of his injuries is still unclear, but according to the broadcaster, his participation in the Wok World Championships on February 4th is in jeopardy.
Ski Jumping Became His Downfall
Pufpaff himself reported on the accident on Instagram and posted a picture of himself with a bandaged leg. "Unfortunately, the ski jump became my downfall," he wrote. "During training, I fell flat on my face in the inrun and hurt my knee. I'm still being examined, but it doesn't look good." Pufpaff thanked his fans for their support and promised to keep them updated on his condition.
Replacement for Pufpaff Sought
ProSieben is now looking for a replacement for Pufpaff for the Wok World Championships, which will take place on February 4th on the Olympic ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Among the potential candidates are comedian Oliver Pocher and entertainer Elton. The broadcaster wants to announce the decision shortly.
