According to the police, the incident occurred on Saturday evening around 8:30 p.m. in the east of Aalen. A 31-year-old man threatened a woman with a knife in an apartment. The woman was able to escape from the apartment and call the police.

The police cordoned off the area around the apartment and brought in a SEK unit. After several hours of negotiation, the SEK officers were able to arrest the man without incident.

The 31-year-old is now in police custody. He is being investigated for threats and coercion. The woman was not injured in the incident.
