Missing person search in Cloppenburg: Police are conducting an office investigation for Wolfgang Borrmann

Extensive search measures

Cloppenburg police are continuing to search for the missing 75-year-old Wolfgang Borrmann. In addition to the intensive search measures in the surrounding area of his home and an aerial search with a helicopter, the officials are now also conducting an office investigation.

In doing so, the police are examining notes, documents and data carriers from the missing person's apartment. They hope to find clues about his current whereabouts or possible contacts.

Wolfgang Borrmann has been missing since Tuesday, September 6, 2023. He left his apartment in the Eschenweg in Cloppenburg at around 8 a.m. and has not been seen since.

Wolfgang Borrmann is 1.70 meters tall and has a slim build. He has short, gray hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
